How long before you had confirmation of a swith through moneysupermarket?

I think they bundle up the switchings and send them to the suppliers once a week. You should get a communication from your new supplier in about 7 - 10 days. If they are not offering you the expected tariff, cancel immediately as you have 14 days to change your mind.
Expect to wait several months for your moneysupermarket discount payment; mine took 4 months to get into my bank account!

Oh dear 7-10 days is a long time. I am wondering if I should just get a capped deal with my current supplier instead then because I can sort that out today. I don't want to wait a week only to be told that they won't give me the deal and then be too late to take one from my current supplier.0
