Plumbers - Mayfair taps, good quality?

From what I gather, Mayfair is a relatively new brand from a company used to mainly producing OEM. Theirs look to me, the laywoman, to be a well-designed product at a mid-market price. Since they seem relatively new, I've struggled to find a reivew of their products. Anyone able to comment on the quality of Mayfair taps?
Thanks
Thanks

Not a plumber but have recently been searching for bathroom taps. Are you looking for bathroom taps though or kitchen?
I've not heard of them myself so personally i'd avoid. How many years guarantee are they offering? Bristan, Grohe, Ideal Standard are the makes i've been considering for our bathroom.

Mayfair taps offer a good product for a reasonable price although the range isn't as big as Bristan or Deva. They are investing heavily in making the brand better known, all of their products carry a 10 year guarantee and they have some very nice contemporary styles. The only negative I can offer is the taps are not as heavy as a Bristan or Grohe tap but obviously the price difference reflects this As a company we have been selling the product for about 12 months and I have to say I was sceptical at first but so far I cant fault them.0

Thanks for your replies, thats very helpful.
We're trying to get the most premium look possible for the minimum outlay (isn't everyone) because this isn't likely to be our forever home, but when the sad day comes that we have to move on, our house will hopefully sell on its uniqueness and designer look. So while these Crosswater taps are to die for:
the Mayfair surf and wave ranges have the same look without the pricetag...
I'm really impressed with Mayfair's range, while slightly limited, the styling is bang on. I don't expect them to be as substantal as grohe or bristan, but I think £300+ on taps is going down the route of overdeveloping our little house. So based on your comments, Lee, I think these are the taps for us.0 -
And guess where they are made? Yep you guessed it..china!
I just looked at their brochure online and found that it's actually 15 year guarantee (unless stated) or 5 years on their showers. The guarantee alone makes it sound like a good deal...especially if you can get comparable tap to crosswater for much lower price.
What supplier were you getting them from out of interest?

If you do decide to go down the Mayfair route, I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed.0

Unless our fitter can find a better deal with his trade discount, I've found the best prices on discountedheating.co.uk, £99.01 for the basin taps (ref: RDX013) and £157.80 for the bath mixer (ref: RDX049), inc vat prices with £5.99 delivery. Unless anyone round here can better that0 -
Thanks, will check it out. I have looked at the same website for other items but will revisit for their taps. I've got loads to buy (taps, shower mixer, shower cubicle, shower tray, radiator, WC, radiator valves etc) so i'm hoping to keep number of suppliers i use to a minimum. Will keep an eye out for your taps and let you know if i see a better deal!
