    Yes grow from mung beans

I use the mung beans in a packet from any supermarket or health shop

Dead easy and productive, but getting the husks out of the finished product can be a bit tricky at times

i soak the beans overnight, drain off water, keep damp and covered (check them daily)and then they sprout within about 3 or so days.

    dead easy and healthy.

    good luck

Rinse daily with lukewarm water to prevent them going mouldy or siting in stagnant water drops

I use a large jar, covered with a hankie held in place with an elastic band

Be careful with the amount of seed you use, they can soon become triffids, so use less than you think for the first trial

So I dont need to place them on anything:confused: just leave them in the bottom of a jar?

    THanks Katy x

Correct, they sprout when damp, which is why rinse them to get them going, the residual moisure will do the rest

PS - grow them in the warm dark, like an airing cupboard, if in daylight they will go green
