Can i repair CAT5 cable?

I just managed to drill through my Cat5 cable adn to save me doing the 20m run again is there a way i can repair this? It looks like 12 cables in all (2x6)
any help would be great

Have you damaged all the wires in the cable?
Could you swap over to another undamaged pair?0 -
If you can acess the point you cut them, re-laying should be significantly easier than it was to start with. Get a long piece of string, join the cable up again (string, glue etc), attach the string to one end and pull the cable through from the other. Then you have a length of string in place with which you can pull through a new cable.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

yes have done it a few times, simply expose wires,clean, twist together and solder, then wrap each exposed wire in insulating tape. of course you lose any shielding if its stp but that's up to you.click here to achieve nothing!0

Thanks everyone, the cable run is easy ish to get to so for for all that trouble i just ordered another cable for £5 off amazon.
