Hi,
I am wthinking of bakcing up my entire pc. I have software that came with the pc Roxio creater. Is this the procedure:
Back up pc
do a system restore [factory settings]
then put the disc in and restore to how it was before? Anything else involved?
Thanks
MS

Why do a system restore?
Only downside i can see to that procedure is if the image wasn't perfect you will end up with a flawed restore..
Best back up system and restore on to another hdd to test image creation before relying on it.
Sorry don't know that software so can't advise on that part.click here to achieve nothing!0 -

Still the same logic though. If you've got an image you're restoring to then why do essentially two restores (factory setting restore and then your saved image restore)? The image restore is (should be) the entire image. Nothing else needs to be done."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

For doing a complete drive image, I hear lots of good things about Norton Ghost, if you don't mind paying.0

Nope, I still don't get it. You're still essentially overwriting the factory restore image with your saved image which is surely no different than overwriting ANYTHING with your saved image. The image (if it is a disc image) has everything, software, drivers, updates etc anyway."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
