The Samsung is the higher spec'ed camera out of the three with a 5x optical zoom and face detection, also the Samsung and Sanyo cameras are made from aluminium which the Hitachi isn't . The Samsung takes AA batteries and the sanyo is suppplied with a Lithium ion Rechargeable battery, it all depends what you prefer, (Samsung) 5x Zoom 2.7in Screen and face detection, or (Sanyo) 3x zoom 2.5in Screen and a rechageable battery. The sanyo is also compatible with SDHC cards which are the newer higher capacity SD cards
