I bought 2 MTB's from Parkers via ebay a few months ago - one new, one s/h. Very pleased with both - excellent VFM and very good service...

also what type of mountain bike....I.E ( Dual Suspension, or just front suspension). would be best please?.

as can you use a dual suspension bike on the roads?....or are they only for off road?.......as i would be useing them to go on the lanes, but also a bit of off road aswell

    thanks again :T

We use them for leisure - off road only. I don't think mtb's are really suitable for prolonged road use, commuting etc. Try ringing Parkers (no. on ebay listings) and get their advice - they are very helpful...

  • well i would`nt say they were that helpfull lol :wall:,

as the person just said that: ( its mainly down to personal preferance, ect to use a dual suspension bike or not).

but he did say on phone that just a front suspension mountain bike would be good enough to use on lanes, & a bit of off road use to :T

so i think ill buy one some time,

Rule of thumb is Dual for off road Mono for on road and use slick tyres
and not nobblys on the road or youll come a cropper..
  • oh i see lol :rotfl:

so just front suspension is fine then?.. ;)
  • I've had 2 bikes off Parker's via eBay about 3 years ago. (dual suspension mountain) They are still going strong today :)

would you sugest the same as Mr Skint?

    thanks ;)

  • Indeed I would. My husband has 2 bikes . The dual he uses for off roading and a front suspension only for road biking. It depends on what you will mainly be using it for.
