Hi all thought you might be interested in having a look at this site - an on-line community which is gearing up to sell plants either by post or in person.
Have a look its looking great agriola.com0 -
Surely this is not a newbie advertising their own site?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Many countries have very strict rules eg Aus, NZ, USA - but the sender won't get into trouble for a 1 off shipment, they destroy the plants & penalise the recipient.0 -
FWIW I noticed that the sellers with exotic-ish bulbs such as rarer amaryllis & lilies always do well on price - and these happen to be very easy to propagate.
Now there's an idea lol0 -

Looking for some advice - I have a large Ficus plant that has grown too large for our house really and my wife is looking to shift must be at least 7 feet tall.
In pretty good nick.
Theses things seem to sell for a load at garden centres - can't find any others on eBay so not sure if I'll be able to shift that way?
Any other ideas? Have thought about calling local garden centres and offering for sale?

Strangely enough earlier on in the year when i was looking for plants Eb*y was the first place i looked.
However, we go to the garden centre a lot in the summer so it was a no brainer for me..... which reminds me, my favourite garden centre should have its Christmas stock in. Ive got a passion for glass baubles for the tree. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

eBay seems as good as anywhere but you will be limited for bidders of they need to collect, as they will need to be localYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -
I'd be tempted to shove it on Eb*y on free listing day to collectors only.
If it doesnt sell you wont have paid to have listed it.
My neighbour has sold most of the contents of his loft via Eb*y free listing days, cash on collection. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
