6x4 shed

Hi blue_monkey
I desperately need a shed too. Moved to a new house a few months ago and the garage is so small.. Have looked at B&Q etc and found that most of the sheds have sheet flooring and there's lots of movement in the floor. I know that the Homebase shed had sheet floor but at the price would have put up with it and likely reinforced it with a couple of floor panels on top of the existing floor.
This shed looks like good quality, a bit pricier but Tongue and grooved cladding, roof and floor and although more expensive than the B&Q shed is bigger and is supplied with a free opening window.
Most of the sheds in the DIY stores have a low roof line and low headroom at the door way, this shed is also a bit higher.
Cheers
Jeff

Hi Jeff, thanks for the reply, I ended up going for the B&Q one - not too worried about how sturdy it is to be honest, I had to get 2 - one is 6x4 and the other 12x6. bases are already in and prepared and so the HB shed would have been ideal. Never mind. Not had the call yet - maybe my shed will arrive if a few others have got theirs......0 -

Hi blue_monkey
I haven't ordered a replacement shed yet... something around £100 odd pounds would suit me.. don't really need a shed that's going to last 50 years as I hope to move within 3 years although I reckon the Walton's shed is built to last.
I could do with two 6'x4' sheds as I don't have enough space for one large shed. Have been told by Bryant Homes who I bought the house from that I cannot floor the loft. Flooring the loft will cause the ceiling studs to pop and will affect my warranty on the house so lots of stuff to put in a hut that I hoped would go into the loft..
Will likely end up with 2 B&Q huts, they will do the job and cheap.
Hope a Hut from Homebase turns up for you, seems like a few orders have slipped through their net.
Good Luck

I ordered the shed, hte shiplap one which was the more expensive one for £65 which should of been £249. They rang last week to cancel, offered me the 20% discount plus £10 gift voucher. I needed a shed so had them agree to me choosing a cheaper shed but still taking the 20% and £10 off. All this got abit messy so ended up them giving me the more expensive shed for £169 which I ordered on Monday.
I have now just received a letter from a diff company to say they are delivering my shed on Friday but I don't know which one they mean, the original or the new one, if it is the new one it is very quick.
Dont know whether to ring them.
