Right time to apply for a new CC?

Hi all,

I’ve just spoken to CS and my application for UB Gold Card (lucky 9 mths 0% BT) has been accepted (£3K only). BT of £2.8K from sainbury’s will be done on 7 working days.

I still have my sainsbury’s (£4.4K limit) which will be cleared by the end of November.

I want to use a credit card to pay for a scooter (c. £1.2K). Would it be OK to apply for Halifax One (0% 12mths purchases), having just been accepted by UB? My 8 credit searches of Nov/Dec last year are still on Experian/Equifax database. They keep searches for 12 months, i.e., mid Dec they should be cleared.

Is it OK to apply now for another CC or should I wait until mid Dec?

Recommendations/advice are much appreciated
