Re: the swapping SIMS over query - surely your phone number would be different if you swapped SIMS (PAYG)?

The phone number in use would be the number of the SIM currently in the phone. (And would change when you put in a different SIM)

My daughter uses 2 sim chips in her phone. You have to buy a special back for it. Hers is a nokia though, i dont know if you can buy them for all phones.

Suzz posted this warning (in another thread) about trying to get the free texts when you already have textsaver:
BEWARE - if you have Orange Textsaver on your phone (5 free texts per day), doing this will CANCEL your text saver.

My boyfriend did it & his text saver's gone. There's something in the terms & conditions for textsaver - saying it can't be used with any other offers. Luckily he only had 2 months to run on the text saver.

If you've already done it - you can get a new text saver for £9.99 at The Link. This gives you £5 of call credit and 5 free texts per day for a year.

Stage 1 is complete - just waiting for the activation from Orange. This should cover my text needs for the next month or so quite well.

    cheers

The only way to tell would be to count up how many texts you've sent since the 30 free ones were applied.

Once that's over 30, then check your balance before and after sending the first text of the day.
