ok I think I understand the aim of MB now (she says, optimistically). It's a way of converting the money that betting sites offer as 'free bet' money into money that can actually be withdrawn, rather than a way to make money through betting. Right?
So the aim is not to keep putting the money into one site and increasing the pot, but to keep finding lots of places that are offering free bets, match the bet, withdraw the funds, and move on.Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000 -

Also I just got £15 in vouchers for all my previous naughty spend on M&S so I'm adding that to my total and will offset against clothes or Christmas presents as needed.
Also I got a 500 points online voucher so I bought 2 gift bags/boxes I wanted worth £5 and even with post and packing it effectively only cost £3.50! I am therefore counting that as £1.50:j
So my new total is £98 + £16.50 = £114.50
I also chased up about getting a lodger - if I succeed at that I should easily be able to do the £10 a day challenge!:TAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Jesa,
You sort of got it right but your second bet needs to be the EXACT opposite of the first i.e.
Take Manchester United v Arsenal
Bet 1: You bet: MU to win
Bet 2: You lay a bet: MU to win (this bet wins if MU do NOT win as it's a laid bet) (not Arsenal to win)
ahh now i get it!! thanks so much that makes sense now! :T
right, with my new found knowledge im off to read the MB thread again, surely it'l make sense to me now....0
