Have you noticed how when you start to do something, it always generates a string of jobs that need to be done first?

Eg Decided to put some books on eBay - a simple enough task.

    1. Fired up the computer to list the books.
    2. Began the first listing on Turbolister
    3. Soon remembered that I needed to photograph them so spent 30 mins looking for my digital camera.
    4. Camera needs charging, so search for charger and then put camera on to charge for 30 mins.
    5. Took photos.
    6. Came to upload the photos and realised that this was my NEW digital camera and so had to spend 30 mins looking for the box containing the CD and the leads for uploading to the computer.
    7. Took 15 minutes setting up the wizards on the computer etc
    8. Uploaded photos and doctored them
    9. Completed the listing and actually listed.

Result - 15 minute job took 2 and a half hours.

Ah well, at least it was a No-Spend 2 and a half hours!

well done everyone on your totals so far :)

Cookie dough, im just being nosey :o but I wondered where abouts you are going for Christmas? We've always fancied going away at Christmas but when we've priced it up, it's been too expensive.

Posted two more ebay parcels today leaving £2.82 and £4.78. I am beginning to think its not really worth bothering with ebay at the moment with the stuff I usually sell (clothes, shoes etc) as I never seem to have much left considering the amount of time I spend takings photos, uploading, editing, writing listings, answering questions, wrapping parcels and going to the post office.

I have loads of stuff to list though but don't want to waste my time when I can make the same profits on Play.com for 30 seconds work.
