Just sold a tapestry frame on ebay for £20.10 Funny thing is I have tried to sell it at a boot fair twice for a fiver and failed! I was going to throw it in the skip at work, and thought I'd give it an ebay bash first. So glad I did.Married 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December

I have only been a member of Quidco for a week and have £164.00 validated already but am not going to count it until it gets into my account. Got a MS this afternoon which is £45 but again not counting until I get the money. 6 items on Ebay for a total of about £25 at the moment with quite a few watchers. Feeling quite accomplished!
Well done everyone else.0 -
waiting to add stuff when it gets paid is frustrating :rotfl:

Quidco paid me out £292.40 today :j Some of it I have had to wait since March, though, so a long wait!!!
Still not been paid for my ebay sale yet though, so can't add that in just yet.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

There's been a lot of discussion recently about when to count money as being "earned".
Obviously there are no hard and fast rules and folk are free to pick and choose but for those people who can't decide on "when" money coming in should be recorded, you could do worse than follow the basic accountancy concept of Prudence.
Prudence states that "costs should be accounted for immediately and profits should only be accounted for when realised"
In other words, where cashback sites are concerned, only record the money as yours when you actually get it, not when it's promised. There's many a slip twixt cup and lip! That way, if the money does not appear, you don't have to remember to cancel it off again!!! and you don't run the risk of fooling yourself that you're better off than you actually are.
Here endeth the lesson, and the evening and the morning were the 5th day!:A
