Well, just been shopping, saved £2.09 on the shopping which means i came in £4 under our weekly budget and got tesco points too.
Also just went into town and bought a new handbag (i know not very money saving but im on a diet, ive given up smoking, if i cant buy handbags my life is over) anyway, it was originally priced at £25, then reduced to £12.50 and the price i paid ....... £7.50, so a saving of £17.50!!!!
Total saved this weekend £21.50!!!!0 -
hi everyone :hello:
Yesterday I sold our old dog cage which has been sat outside for months on end, since our dog got too big to fit in it!
Got £25 for that, so will add that to my total
Doin good so far!

Another amazon sale today for £1.50 profit, and I found 3p in the street yesterday when I was walking into town and back.
And I discovered a great little vintage shop that are happy to buy as well as sell, and seem to offer quite good rates, so some stuff that is a bit too 'vintagey' to go onto ebay is going to go down there to see what she offers me - and I'm going to keep an eye out for suitable stuff while I'm rooting round charity shops. If I buy from a charity shop for £5, sell it on to the shop for £10 who then sell it on for £25 then everyone's a winner.Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000 -

PS Gonna just go with this shirt and not buy a new one. It'll have to do but doesn't look too faded.NIL ILLEGITIMUS CARBORUNDUM!Nov Grocery Challenge: £0.00 / £150.00

After a fairly good start, the last coupld of days haven't seen any extra money. Just noticed my bank acc had 44p interest so will add that to my sig.
I think I need to be a bit more clever in ways I can earn and save the money. I'm waiting on a coupld of ebay payments and a green met book sale so that will help a bit.0 -

Any haberdashery department should have it, eg John Lewis, or if you've got a decent sized tesco or similar, some of them stock it too. There's two versions, one is a cold water dye and the other one goes in the machine. I seem to remember they use salt as a fixative. It's been a while since I've used them, although thinking about it I've got some manky old 'used to be white' sheets and pillow cases that I could dye a nice bright colour and use the cotton to make something.Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000 -
Chillin, you are best to do a search on the forum for details, but many bingo sites give you a few quid to start you off, but be careful with terms & conditions. You often have to deposit before you can withdraw any winnings. The gambling thread may have details.
I do the scratch cards on butlins & littlewoods bingo.
remeber to join throughcashback sites too for extra bonus.
Good luck, but be careful!0
