Today me and BF collected up the copper jar and took it to tesco to convert to actual money, which came to 14.78, which we used towards the shopping. We also had the 5.00 off voucher from last weeks News of the world. I have an item ending on ebay tonight that should be selling for at least 2.75. So that comes to 22.53 today.0

With the best of intentions to spend the whole day listing on ebay I started tidying my bedroom and ended up cleaning and reorganising the whole layout - it took me 8 hours! I do feel good when I am tidy and organised though so it was time well spent
Up early tomorrow for carboot (buying) so probably won't do it tomorrow eitherNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Ive decided for personal motivation Im going to post what I have achieved in a day regardless of whether or not I have received the money. Then it may not seem like Ive done nothing like last month.
So today. Ive saved £1 on an ice cream for DD, £4 from itsyour view, 30p from harris poll and 2pence from archerfish. Todays total = £5.320 -

I am in the process of changing my current account provider from Halifax to Abbey,
As Halifax only offer 5.12% upto £2500, but only 0.1% above £2500,
Interest earned after 1 year on £2500, £128 less tax 20% = £102.40
but Abbey offer 8% upto £2500 plus 2.5% for balance above £2500, this 8% rate is only for 1 year though, after a year it drops to 2.5% for full balance, so I need to move back to Halifax after 1 year.
Interest earned after 1 year on £2500, £200 less tax 20% = £160.00
£57.60 better of over the year, £4.80 extra per month, hopefully Halifax will offer £100 bonus for me to move back in a years time.
Recieved last interest payment from my Halifax current account, so have £4.69 to add to sig.0 -
Hi,
Can't sleep so thought I would update here. I have decided the only way to make £10 a day is through matched betting (I am very new to this so am taking it very slowly and carefully) - so today signed up for Paddy Power through Quidco and made a profit of £12.37. Should get £20 sign up from Quidco but will not could this until it has tracked. Jess0 -
Happy Sunday all!
I made £20 yesterday by ringing the bells for a wedding at a local church. June, July and August are great months for earning loads simply by doing my hobby!:T
After that, me and a friend went to a wedding ourselves and I only managed to spend £13.19 on drinks etc so all told, I made a profit of £6.81 on the day so I'm really happy with that!
I'm singing in a concert tomorrow and may have to go out and purchase a black shirt. NOT in my spending plan for August, but my old shirt is not looking so black anymore after several washes.
Ho Hum!
Happy earning!
