blocked and incorrectly delivered E-Mails

I hope someone can help. For the past two weeks Martins money e-mail was not received. I later found them with other (not received) e-mails in Norton AntiSpam folder. I have also found some e-mails are going straight into my "delete folder" . I do not have any addresses in blocked folder and do not know how to get all incoming e-mails into my In Box.
Any suggestions to sort this out would be much appreciated. Thanks.

As the MSE email is sent to a lot of people Norton is assuming it is spam. If you can find a settings window for Norton somewhere then there should be list of email addresses which you can allow.

    Same for the other emails.
  • Thank you. I have found "level of setting slide rule" but would have to reduce to the lowest level which would then accept all mail which may not be a good idea. I have also found security setting with choice to view and alter "restricted site zones" but for some reason this is all in feint and cannot be accessed. I just want to allow specified e-mail addresses to be accepted. Any ideas for waht I could try next please?
    Thanks.

Right click on one of Martins emails in your Norton Antispam folder and from the list choose "This is not spam" It will then ask if you want to allow emails from this address. Click yes and you will be ok in future.
  • Thanks for antispam folder advice. Have made some progress but screen does not give option "to allow e-mails from this address click yes or no." it accepts not spam and removes e-mail from antispam folder to in box.
Perhaps I should contact symantec to advise how to get future e-mails straight into inbox because at presenmt new e-mails from addresses I have marked as not spam are still going direct to antispam folder. Can you give any further advice?

The advice I gave you is correct for Norton Internet Security 2004. It could be different for the version you are using.
One other thing you can do is to go to where you set the filter and there should be other tabs at the top. Look in the blocked and the allowed lists. If Martins Tips email address
    MartinsMoneyTips@moneysavingexpert.com
is in the blocked list then delete it from there and add it to the allowed list. You can also add your adfdress book to the allowed list if you wish.
  • Many thanks. I have finally found anti spam fields that I can edit and now understand what is needed. I really appreciate the help you have given to me.
