Capping today, need some advice please!
Hi, im currently with Eon energy online extra saver v5.
according to the switching sites, the cheapest capped tarriff is 26% more than im paying now.
I could switch to eon energy saver v4 which is 27% more, switching would just take a phone call.
is it worth me capping and paying an extra 27% more for 14 months ?
Eons prices would have to rise by 28% in 14 months for me to loose out.
do people really think that a 28% rise will happen in those 14 months ?
thanks

You say "Eons prices would have to rise by 28% in 14 months for me to loose out"....Well EDF has gone up by 22% a couple of days ago and according to most people others will follow soon.So they only have to go up by another 6% in 14 months and you are better off and have pieceof mind until next August.I changed over yesterday from E.on to Scottish Power capped, about 20% extra for me.0
