Can I split ticket with 2 wayfarer regional passes

I want to travel regularly from Manchester to Leeds ( Picc 2 Leeds central) and it costs me an arm and a leg. A years season is not cheap either. But it seems that if I bought a Greater Manchester regional season AND a West Yorks regional season ticket, I might be able to save a load?

Each pass would cover all the stations on the line but obviously I'd not like to get forced to get off and get a train between the last station on the manchester side and the first on the west yorks side - on any thing daft like that.

does anyone have any advice?

No, first the tickets must cover the entire journey, yours do not as they are only to the last station in each county.

Also unless one of the tickets is a national rail season ticket or London season travelcard (not PTE tickets), the train must stop at station where you change tickets.

But you can use one both of those in combination with a national rail season ticket, with no requirement for the strain to stop. I would advise you to take a copy of the National Rail Conditions of Carriage with you, in case you encounter a ticket inspector who doesn't know the rules.
