Hiya all
Ive got quite a few of the hovis white bread mixes that theyve been selling off at asda for 35p.
Does anyone know if I can transform the contents into pizza base? I have extra normal ( not strong) flour ( both plan & SR) and more yeast.

Hiya,
I can't see why not? The proportions for pizza dough and white bread are much of a muchness. You may need more salt in the pizza dough? And a drop of olive oil might not go amiss, but I would certainly just go for it.
Let us know how you get on!

I found it collapsed too if I made the full sized (2lb) loaf. This was because it reached the roof of the breadmaker and so "top hatted". To stop this I simply made a smaller loaf. (Used 3/4 water 3/4 fat and 3/4 of mix to make 1 1/2lb laf). This did not collapse as it didn't reach the top of the breadmaker. I find the children eat the same number of slices whether 2lb or smaller, so actually more economical.
I may try the less water alternative though and see what happens.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. 310 - 320 ml works fine for me and produces a yummy and good looking loaf0

I have a Kenwood BM250 bread maker & some Hovis Bread Mix along with a packet of Margarine.
Please, can anyone tell me how I make this into a loaf of bread as I can't find instructions on how to use bread mix!
Thanks in advance
