Capital One Classic APR

I have a Capital One Classic card with a credit limit of £600 (was originally £200 with no deposit), and I want them to reduce my APR - which at the moment is their standard 29.9% - are Capital One quite good at reducing the APR or will they try and keep you on that APR?

Thanks for any advice...

I have exactly the same card as this and when I telephoned them to ask for a drop in the interest rate, I was told my account would be reviewed in 6 months time.
If you check carefully you will find you are also being charged a £19 per year fee.
  • Nope - have had the card nearly 2 years and I have never been charged a £19 annual charge.... I always keep a close eye on this account....

"The lower your credit rating, the higher your APR", seems to be the norm thoughout the industry.
