Yorkshire Bank gone right down the pan?

I've always had a Yorkshire Bank Credit Card, and have had it for nearly 20 years!

I don't use it that much, but decided it would be better if I could get it online, to keep an eye on it, same as I do with my current account.

So I've called them, and it just went to a holding queue for 10 minutes. Tried again later in the week. Same again. I'm certainly not hanging on an 0870 call for ages, I thought it was perhaps an evening backlog.

I then tried on Thursday morning just gone and the 3rd time being during the day, I used the saynoto0870 geographic number. Didn't make a difference.

Added to that 5 times now I have used the Call Me Back service off the website to try and get them to call me. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Tried mornings, evenings, weekends.

Loyalty really does count for nothing these days does it?

Good job I don't actually have a series problem with the account I need sorting?

Anyone else having problems getting through to Yorkshire Bank?

Their systems must be different to how most banks operate.
My bank has all accounts joint and sole in my name including loans and credit cards on the internet without having to sign up separately.

I would search for Clydesdale Bank on saynoto0870 there is a number for credit cards and it says if you are a Clydesdale Bank or Yorkshire Bank customer stay on the line. It has never taken that long for them to pick up.

Like joneMUFCforevers pointed out why don't you get the accounts aggregated on internet banking. I have both my current and Clydesdale credit card on mine, dont know if the current account is mandatory or if they will set-up internet banking if you only have a credit card with them. You do have to ask them to add it to internet banking it wont just appear.

    Hope this helps.
