Looking to cancel my HSBC Mastercard

I'm looking to cancel my HSBC Mastercard. Earlier this month, I paid off my balance in full as I had been paying the minimum for around 9 months, incuring debt of £498.00.

On the 24th of July 2008, I received a charge for interest on cash.

Do I have to pay interest for two more months, even though the balance has been paid off until I can cancel my credit card?

Dependent on your statement dates-you have paid off the debt so you will just have some interest accrued on a final statement. If you give HSBC notice to close then the final balance will be sent to you accordingly.
Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!

There has to be 2 clear monthly statements so you no longer pay interest
