My laptop has been on most of the day and been fine. Left it for an hour, came back and the display is completely upside down and the mouse/cursor movements are in reverse (i.e. up is down etc.). Tried re-booting but made no difference. Any ideas? Thanks

On my laptop this happens by pressing Ctrl + Alt + down arrow key - could accidently happen if you put papers onto the keyboard0

Try Ctrl + Alt + down arrow key, if that don't work then go to your video card settings.0

If you right mouse click anywhere on the desktop, you should have an option similar to "graphic options" then the option "rotation" select "normal"
I'm guessing it will have a tick beside 180o0 -
failing that you could always turn the laptop round
go with Techterry's advice, it should work
