Read on This is Money that Barclaycard have launched yet another card which gives you a lower apr of 12.9% for paying more than the minimum amount. It's called Flexi-Rate and launched today.
I called BarclayCard asking if I could change my current card to this one, they had not even heard of it!
I won't be able to get one of the much lower ccs so this would be ideal for the time being.

Those that only pay the minimum 2.5% are charged the full APR of 16.9%, while those that pay between 5.05% and 9.99% will be charged 12.9%. (Not quite sure what happens if you may more than 9.99%)

This product is available although is not currently available online. We're hoping to have this product available at https://www.barclaycard.co.uk within the near future.
