I would suggest not using the water-based based Zinsser Bulls Eye primer-sealer paint. There are three main types of Zinsser primer-sealers: water-based, oil-based and shellac-base. Go for the shellac paint as it is much better at covering stains/varnishes etc than the others. From my experience, the water-based paint isn't much good at all!
I should say that it is really worth using a stain-killing primer-sealer on the wood cladding in the bathroom because if it has been stained or varnished or the knots haven't been sealed then any white paint will get a yellow bleed-through in no time at all.
This is what we did with the pine cladding we 'inherited'. We (well, OH) sanded the varnish with a 'Mouse' and painted it with eggshell - it's been done a year now and still looks nice.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
To save the messy and work using Bulleyes 1-2-3 will just cover over varnish. It did on our ceiling two coats of bulleys and two coats of dulux emulsion soft sheen
Bulleyes 1-2-3 acts as a bonding agent to allow over paint to adhere
