Direct ine pet insurance

Hi
I have been looking for Insurance for my gorgeous Staffie.
I got a quote from Direct line and it seems really good value for money, they pay up to £6k per seperate condition indefinately.
Is there anything else i need to look out for?

Yes. If that's all you want to pay, then that's fine. However, the lifetime policies where the amount renews every year offer far better cover.
As you may be stuck with the insurer for the life of your pet, it is worth getting quotes from a range of them. Try AXA, HSBC, Halifax and NFU (that last one is telephone only). There are others if you want, but that'll give you something to go at.
BTW, it is possbile that the premiums will be similar to Direct Line's - there's no easy way to tell without doing a test quote I'm afraid.0
