PVCu door help please!

Hi,
I'm hoping someone on here can help me.
I've got two PVCu doors, think they're only about 4 years old - they did have a 10year guarantee on them but supposedly that only applies to the person that had them fitted - which wasn't us unfortunately! They're both Safestyle if that makes any difference
Front door - the locks gone funny, it will lock but you can't turn it that last little bit to get the key out so I have to lock it from the inside and leave the key in at the moment - does anybody know if there's anything that I could do or will I have to get a new lock? and where's the best place - a locksmith or the people who did the door?
Side door - seems to have dropped so that the top of the door catches on the locking mechanism on the frame when you try and shut it - I have to really slam it to get it to shut and it's started to crack the plaster round the door now - am I going to have to get a new door or is there a way of sorting it?
Hope someone can help coz at this rate I'm not going to be able to use either door!

It makes a difference being Safestlye, they do their best to get out of any guarentee.
Shouldn't make an iota bit of difference that your not the ones that ordered the doors. It's the product that is covered, not the purchaser. I suspect they as usual are trying to wriggle out of this one.
You could try and contact the previous owners for the guarantee so you can check the small print.

It sounds like just a bt of adjustment is required, possibly a replacement lock.
Most locks are standard Euro Locks these days, so easy to find and easy to replace.0 -
It sounds to me like both the doors may have dropped. For a temporary solution, try lifting the door by the handle as you lock it and this may help you completely turn the key. You will need to get it looked at, as it will only get worse. The glass and panels will need to come out so that they can be toe-and-heeled again. Do you know any window fitters or carpenters that want a Saturday morning job?0

 When we had problems with the lock on our double glazed front door we conacted our house insurers and they despatched a locksmith to sort the problem, don't think we had to pay any sort of 'excess' either. May be worth a try?0
