Support Team GB at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter
Games Free Prize Draw
1. Win a trip for two to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games as part of our “Support Team GB at
the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games” Free Prize Draw.
2. The Prize Draw is open to anyone with a permanent UK address and aged 18 or over.
3. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Scottish Widows and Lloyds TSB, their immediate
families, their agents and anyone else directly connected with the competition.
4. The closing date of the Prize Draw is 16/11/2008.
5. To enter the Prize Draw you need to complete and submit the online entry form on
www.scottishwidows.co.uk
6. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
7. Scottish Widows accepts no liability for incomplete or late entries. Such entries may be
deemed invalid at the sole discretion of Scottish Widows.
8. The Prize Draw will be held on 21/11/2008. The winner will be the first entry drawn. There will
be one prize winner.
9. The winner will be notified in writing by recorded delivery post by 5/12/2008. If the winner does
not claim their Prize within 14 days of receiving the notification, an alternative winner may be
chosen. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. Full details of the winner will be available by sending an SAE to Scottish Widows, Sponsorship,
69 Morrison Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8YF.
11. The “Support Team GB at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games” Prize will need to be
taken on dates, to be later confirmed, from 12/02/2010 to 28/02/2010 and will include two
return air tickets (departure from London and a return from Vancouver), four nights bed and
breakfast at a 4 star Hotel, greeting on arrival by a Sportsworld representative , return airport
transfers to the Hotel, welcome drinks on arrival at the Hotel, £150 per person for meals (i.e.
lunches and dinners), one official ticket per person for three Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter
Games events (1 event per day), one Olympic Games souvenir per person and access to the
Sportsworld Ltd information centre at the Hotel. Sportsworld will provide each person with a
single entry Canadian Visa. Note: Package inclusions are subject to change.
12. A Pre-Departure Information Pack will be supplied to each person before travel.
13. The Prize does not include additional tours, guest incidentals and travel insurance which must
be purchased before travel.
14. Once the dates are confirmed, they will not be changeable and the winner must be available to
travel on those dates and must have a full UK passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the
date of departure from Vancouver.
15. The Prize is not changeable and no alternative or cash sum will be offered.
16. The prize winner will need to comply with Sportsworld Group Ltd’s separate terms and
conditions which relate specifically to the ticket and tour package. These will be supplied to the
winner at the time of notification of their Prize.
17. The winner may be required to participate in future publicity in connection with this promotion.
18. The promotion will be governed by Scots Law.

They've changed rule 2. Perhaps what I saw was left in from an earlier competition. I thought the bit about Financial Advisers was unusual!
