Anyone bought a car from mainland UK?

Just to update you all, I did manage to find the car I was looking for at a great price. I was starting to make arrangements to travel to Liverpool and bring it back on the ferry when I had a call from a dealer in Enniskillen (!) who brought his price down to within £500 of what I had been offered. I weighed up the cost of travelling, hassle etc and decided to buy this car. To make this offer, he came down nearly £1500 on what he had quoted me three weeks earlier. There is no doubt that my willingness to travel to England for the best deal was a great bargaining tool. Thanks for all the ideas and advice on this thread.0
