Can you recommend a good free blogging site - thanks

Options
Hi All

am thinking of starting a blog - but would only want my brothers n sister to be able to read it. Is this possible ? If so can anyone recommend a FREE , easy to use site that I could use.

I have never blogged before so the easier to use and more secure the better. If it was well featured that'd be a good bnus bu afore mentioned factors are most important.

thanks

I'm not sure any company would advertise the fact that they're easy to sue! ;)

You can set it so only your friends can read it, so get them to open accounts and set each other as friends.

It's a very popular site, so I'm assuming it's easy to use. Never used it personally.

have had a look at blogger and that looks pretty cool n easy to use - doesn't look like you can embed youtube clips sadly (unless I just haven't found a way yet) but I think I'm gonna run with it .

Thanks for the pointers mate

I use Blogger and Livejournal; the good thing about Blogger is that you can set up more than one blog with the same account if you wanted to do that, yet the privacy you can set up with Livejournal is certainly something to consider. If you get the people you want to be able to read it to set up accounts too, you can set all your posts to friends-only. You can also join communities and post in them, and you can view RSS feeds on your friends page as well as journal entries from your LJ friends (my personal favourites are the Dilbert comic and BBC Technology News).
