i have been thinking of getting one of these since i saw them for sale in the usa.has anyone got one? are they any good?
i am going back to the states in september so may get one there.
i know that the charger plug will be usa standard but is the voltage ok for uk use?

You don't get a mains charger with it - it's an optional extra and (if you believe the specs) only works at US voltage. It shouldn't cost more than a few quid to get a mains charger off Ebay if you want one, as it uses a USB port to charge from.

I suspect that the main problem you'll have is accessing the Ebook Store to download the 100 free books that are bundled with it, as they are supposedly available to US/Canadian residents only.

I also can't escape the impression that you will be paying top money buying now, and that they will be a third of the price in 2 years time - but if you have to have one now...
