I agree that it is not good they give out your address and telephone number.
But on the other hand how would I have felt if I had bought somthing that was not how it was descrbed, had no reply to emails and that was my only option?
It's a tough one really - but I would let ebay know what he was like, send them some of the emails he sent you and tell them exactly what happened with the phone calls - surely they should ban him for that??
Hope you're feeling better about it all now.

Now all talk I think, and the guy hasn't got my address or phone number as I sold to him and didn't send it plus he paid by paypal....
He gets your details from the end of auction invoice.
I was wrong... I get an ebay email saying "contact details despatched" from ebay with that I checked and it said my full name address and telephone number,
Untrue. The details eBay give out don't include your house number or street name.
You also seem to have omitted from your posting that eBay would have sent you your buyers details as well ?
What do you guys think about the rights of Ebay giving your own contact details out to anyone on ebay?
I think you need to go back and read the Terms and Conditions you agreed to when you signed up with eBay
For the record, I realise for valid ebayers they may want to contact someone who could have ripped them off, but lets be honest most people use a false number and name anyhow...
Which will result in *your* account going NARU without warningNot everything that's cheap is a bargain0
