I'm not sure which TomTom One version I have got. When I tap on the bottom right of screen it says "GPS V.1.21" so I think it is version one. Am I correct? It also says it is "App. 7.163" but I don't know what that means.
Is there any way that I can upgrade the software so that I can get use the free map corrections, which I have read are available on versions 3 and 4? I get a message from TomTom Home to say that my version does not support this. I obviously don't want to have to buy another TomTom and some of my maps are out of date. I only bought it Jan. 07 so it's not that old. Thanks.

See the previous thread i answered your question from earlier here
You need to install TomTom Home it is on the disk that comes with your tomtom the latest version is available on the website here.
They give a 30 day map garantee after purchase so you can get the latest maps.
This is how you check out which version you are running. Im running map v720.1802 which was released a few months ago, if your running an older map then expect to be sent the wrong way where the roads have changed its not the devices fault. When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.0
