Computer Table NOT Computer desk

Big mistake as I have just bought a Computer Desk/Stand but hate the height of the top and the height of the keyboard and depth of it. After using for only a few days my right arm is aching badly as it needs to be held up to use the mouse and keyboard.
Old desk/table back in from garage where it was due to be taken to the tip!!
What I am looking for is the height of a normal table (72cm) and the depth of a normal table (75cm) as I like to lay my arms on the surface when using mouse and keyboard. But the width to fit a certain space in my home office of 75cm.
So it seems an easy requirement -- just a normal square table but I just can't find anything to suit. Beech would be good, to match the rest of the room, but is there anything anywhere?

I use one from IKEA. Pick your table top and then pick the legs that you want with it.
I went for http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/60117016
with http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/10105290
They do various sizes and may have one to fit your requirementsThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
All my office style work (and home office) desks are from Staples, and are around 71cm high...
Most standard work / office desks are this height, so anything from the major office companies will suite. Mine are 80cm deep, they are much better built than Ikea stuff, solid steel cantilever legs, thick solid work tops, built to last.
Most of this type of office / home office desk come in a variety of colours: beech, light oak, normal oak, cherry and there are many brands, all very similar.
Try: Staples, Office World, or online Furniture at Work have very good prices etc.0 -
The one I have my desktop on is also from IKEA. However, it is designed to fit in the corner of a room so the front is at a diagonal and the back is a square (if that makes sense). It is just the right height for me and made from all pine.0

I also got mine from Ikea and it is fully adjustable so you can have it any height you want. Excellent!
Mine is the previous version of this one: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/801414830 -
I use a 'office style' desk rather than a computer table as I really dislike keyboard shelves. I would suggest trying office furniture companies, as others have said like staples.0

I'd agree with the above and try Ikea. The thing with Ikea is the amount of different solutions it has to offer.
I use something similar to this with this added to one of the shelves and an extra side panel, cupboard and drawers from the same range to create an entire workstation with built in lights and it works like a charm, even though it's meant to be a storage shelf system and not a computer workstation.
If you go looking round Ikea, just bear in mind that a lot of its modular ranges can be adapted to fit your needs.0
