hi guys, i am hoping someone out there can help me in this hour or need....
i am wanting to open a pdf file on my pc, but am being told that my pc aint got a programme that can open it, i am being directed to download the adobe reader programme, but before doing that i am then being told i have to download the akamai download manager first.... is there any easier and quicker ways of getting this pc to be able to open a pdf file?

If you download from here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html?promoid=BUIGO, it should sort that problem. If it comes up with Linux RPM (it shouldn't, but it might), then goto https://www.adobe.com and find the button "get adobe reader"
However, I personally would recommend though that you use another PDF reader that less bloated. My personal preference, at least when I am on Windows (I have another operating system called Kubuntu Linux that I prefer) is for one called foxit reader, which can be found at http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php and its small and fast.0 -
Are you trying to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader from here:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
I don't recall the official site needing any download manager installed - something sounds fishy.0 -
You could try THIS It's an online pdf reader so no down loading files needed apart from the pdf file you wanna read. lolIt`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
