Help! Not sure if I should cap!
Hi
I pay £31 a month for gas and electric with EON using Energy Online Saver 5(£372 annually). I was looking at changing and the cheapest cap shows Energy Saver v4 and Price Protection Oct 2009 both at £98 extra annually. With the predicted price increases we would be looking at £5 or under a month. Therefore I'm thinking should we just keep as is for now?
Thanks in advance.:D

Well your costs arent particularly high anyway and seems you got a good deal for now. I was on the energy online tariffs but capped mine when BG put it up in Feb and Eon increased the next day so I only paid more for the 1 day. Way I see it is if the prices increase by say 22% then you`re going to be paying about £81 more a month anyway. If prices then go up again before Oct 2009 then you will end up saving.0
