Will mainly be used for Internet, listening to music and playing a couple of OLD time games - Diablo 2 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Have no interest in playing the latest games but wanted to know would the included integrated graphics card be sufficeint for my needs or would it be worth upgrading to the 128mb or 256mb graphics cards?
Many thanks.
I would run with the standard machine. It has a full size case, so you can add a graphics card later if needs be - plus an aftermarket card will be cheaper than dells upgrade.
Go for it! I have the same unit, only with 2x750GB Drives in it. Excellent machine, well built and as quiet as a mouse.0 -
I agree with piggeh - if you're not playing the most recent games then you can pick up some bargain second hand PC's as all anyone ever advises these day is 'Oh you have to have dual core'. If money is tight, you just want to use the internet, word process and use non graphically intensive software then have a look at second hand pc's.0

The aforementioned deal comes with Vista Business or you can pay £10 to have XP Professional. Have heard some not so good things about Vista and so was wondering if its worth going for XP? Thanks0
