Too late to switch?
Options
Hi,
I'm trying to fix but Scottish Power are telling me
Your Best Deals
Gas
Tariff Estimated Annual Bill Calculated Savings Features
Prices include VAT and were last updated on Jul 25 2008
In other words no deal on the capped rates.
While British Gas keep asking me for my British Gas customer number because I'm already registered with them, but that is not true. I'm on Ebico, which is through Southern Electric.
So I seem unable to access the best two capped rates? Is anyone else having these problems? Are we too late?
By the way on both of these the best deal for switching appears to be through Quidco, if I could switch....

Still no joy on British Gas, but on Scottish Power I was trying to switch Gas only, but if I go for Dual Fuel it does work.
I think I will have to Switch to Scottish Power which fixes for one year. With £62 for Dual Fuel Switching matched to an estimated £84 on current prices it seems like a good deal. I suspect both will increase before the Winter.
Therefore I'm switching to Scottish Power...0 -
I have just switched to Scotish Power Fixed Rate (until Aug 2009) - been considering a fixed rate for a while and figured better to get it sorted now. Will actually be paying 15% a year more, but would rather protect myself for a year at least.
Did it through quidco too - which got me £62 cashback which tracked no problems.:j
Taking that into account got fixed rate and estimate to be paying about 9% more than I am currently.0
