Help! In price fix until November
Options
As I signed up to a fixed price until November 2008, does that mean I am locked into it until then? I dread to think what the prices will be by November. Does anybody know if suppliers let you change to a different tariff before the end of price fix term? Surely if you stayed with the same supplier it would be to their advantage wouldn't it?
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

what supplier is it that you are with and do you know what tariff you are on?0 -
Have you phoned your current supplier?
They'd be able to tell you if you'd have to pay to get out of your existing deal or not.0 -

Thanks, I think I will phone them about it.
Have just looked at their website and they now have a tariff that you can fix until 2010, so perhaps they would let me switch over without any problems.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

at the moment i would stick with that as switching to another fixed tariff would be a 40-50% increase on your prices, make the most of them while you've got them
also southern DO NOT have a fixed price until 2010 what it is is a fixed discount of 2% off there standard rates until 2010 with an exit fee aswell you will not be covered by price rises
Prices for this tariff are fixed at 2% below Scottish & Southern's standard prices until 31st July 2010. There is a cancellation fee of £50 per fuel if customers switch away before 1st July 2009, falling to £25 per fuel if customers switch away between 1st July 2009 and 31st July 2010.0
