D for us. When we started out it was about 50/50 but it soon became clear who was the most sensible. I'm not particularly happy about holding the financial reins but neither would I trust DH with them. Are our lives all mapped out?0

D for us but it slipped into being like that as DH is away each week working and it is just easier for me to keep on top of everything, he rarely asks how the finances are doing but neither of us spend a large amount without discussing it first.0

D for us too. Hubbie in forces so it has to be me really cos he's often not about, I do enjoy it tho. We do make decisions about costly purchases together tho. There's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0

I suppose I control the budget and decide what to buy, but we agree on what I'm doing and I check in with him periodically and we make joint decisions on the big stuff.
Although he doesn't know how much we spend on groceries or electricity, he is pleased to see our savings account getting fatter!
Edited to say that he doesn't know because he leaves it to me to sort out, it's not that I hide it from him or anything! :rotfl:May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
