MSE flightchecker problem

There is a statemet saying that 'Ryanair website is currently having difficulties, so unable to show ryanair flights.'.

FYI, the flightchecker has been showing this for the past one week and the ryanair website is working fine. They are still not showing the full price of the price, but I think MSE Flightchecker should still be able to list them.

Can someone from MSE have a look onto it. It is an incredibly helpful tool to plan holidays, thanks in adv!

The Ryanair website is not working fine, it is not showing the full price where it should. It clearly states this on the site.
    Gone ... or have I?

I've just heard on Radio 1's news slot that Ryanair are cancelling flights made through price comparisons websites.

Please note, I don't know if this affects the flight booked with the help of the Flightchecker tool, maybe some one can clear this up?

    Hiya,

Don't worry, no one has ever booked flights through the flightchecker. All we do is give you a link to Ryanair's home page. So you booked through Ryanair not through MSE.

This is talkign about the very small number of websites which buy ryanair tickets for you then add booking fees and the like.

The MSE flightchecker website is still not showing those Ryanair flights. I don't understand why it takes so long to get it sorted (even after Mr Martn himself saw this thread!). There's not much point of having a website that can check you for cheap flights if you don't include one that does most of the cheap flights.

Martin, can't you sort this out with Ryanair.

Your MSE Flightchecker worked better than the Ryanair website in showing flights over long period to choose from.

The Ryanair website is rubbish, MSE Flightchecker worked better.

  • Hi,

I created my own flightchecker (But will not advertise it here for obvious reasons) anyway I got the same problem - but I have fixed it now on my own one. Anyway the problem is Ryanair changed their website so when Martin's crawls through it may not work.

I fixed mine quickly because I built mine myself...but perhaps they were waiting for their developers to fix the issue...

    All the best,

Martin - you keep saying about your budgetflightchecker website but it sisnt good if you dont fix the Ryan air problem. Ryanair website is back to normal for more than a month now and you still havent fixed it. Dissappointed and thumbs down!

Ryanair Responds To EU Queries Re: Screenscrapers
    http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/news.php?yr=08&month=aug&story=reg-en-260808&pos=BANNER
Ryanair today (26th August) confirmed that it had sent a detailed response to the European Commission’s enquiry letter last week concerning Ryanair’s policy of banning bookings made on unauthorised, illegal screenscraper/ticket-tout websites. A copy of this EU correspondence and Ryanair’s reply has been published on Ryanair’s website at https://www.Ryanair.com. Ryanair provided the European Commission with detailed documentary evidence to demonstrate that these screenscraper/ticket-tout websites are:
    1. Guilty of unauthorised and illegal access to the Ryanair.com website.
    2. In breach of Ryanair.com’s copyright.
    3. In breach of Ryanair’s terms and conditions of travel and terms and conditions of use.
    4. Do not provide consumers with Ryanair’s accurate terms and conditions.
    5. Do not provide consumers with accurate details of Ryanair’s pricing.
    6. Do not keep consumers informed of changes in Ryanair’s terms and conditions or flight information.
    7. Are regularly and consistently over-charging consumers with over 200% or 300% hidden mark-ups on Ryanair’s ticket prices.
