Smileys in signatures

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or on the techy board so please move it if necessary
Is there any way of adding a smiley to a signature, other than the standard ones that are available to use on this site?
I notice that the "add image" option is missing/disabled in the signature edit area, which is understandable to stop people placing banners and large images in their sigs, but I've found a teeny weeny standard sized one I'd like to use for a while if at all possible

AFAIK There is no possible way in vbulletin to control the size of an image a member posts.
If images the size of smilies where allowed, then members would also be allowed to put the huge postcard-size images in their signature that you see in some forums0 -
Ok, no worries, I just thought I'd ask
I do understand and also hate those "banners" that a lot of people use on other forums
Cheers sra "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

I think I'll miss all the tickers and Christmas decorations we had in signatures last year0 -
Ahhh right, I wasn't around back then. This is what I wanted to add
Mind you ... ... the web design team could always add a list of seasonal smilies to the collection "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Great idea C_Q
And maybe some holly and mistletoe around the borders of the site?0 -
Arggg seasonal tickers  drove me mad but then so does this  or this :money:in a signature. I don't mind the static smillies but the moving ones do irritate my eyes when reading posts
Another forum I use, a Disney one, fortunately uses the same software as this so I know how to switch off signatures as they have huge signatures which include pictures and every trip they ever made to Disney along with a ticker to count down their next trip which could well be two years hence
But I do like like your pumpkin Curry Queen and some seasonal smillies would be nice, Braveheart Martin for St Andrews Day perhaps?0 -
funnily enough I probably hated the tickers.
But was one of the things that made the site feel more friendly
ah nostalgia0 -
Are the tickers the things that counted down to Christmas?0
