Experian free trial query

I applied for my Experian credit file through the 30 day free trial earlier this year...about 5-6 months ago.....

Am i able to re-apply for the 30 day trial again? is there a 6-12 month gap needed?

Thanks

Unfortunately the answer is no. They have you on record. (and one free trial is all you'll get.)

The service has not changed in the last 5 or 6 months. If you wish to use it then surely you should pay for it? Alternatively get statutory reports by post for £2 a time.

I was mainly asking due to the fact that i recently used Equifax free trial and noticed that on the website there was a note about not being able to reapply for 6 mths...I didn't read it closely, and just was wondering if the same applied for Experian...

I'm sure OP asked the question in true Money Saving spirit! I was interested in the answer myself - thanks.

The answer is definitely no - I couldn't remember if it was experian or equifax that I had signed up to about this time last year - tried to register for the free trial on Experian and it said that I was already registered. As a result, I am now in a free trial with Equifax! I signed up to the Experian £2 report (£8 for the year as they then send you quarterley without having to complete your details every time).
