I think you can send to pc if you have infra red and the phone software allows it , you can on my phone(nokia) and pc .0

Ive got a nokia phone and infra red on it so can i just send it to the computer?0

It all depends on what connections you have on your PC0

oh ok thanks for your help il have a fiddle around!0

Yeah, as mentioned it's solely dependent on what features your phone has.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IR are your best bets depending on what your PC has and how open that kind of thing is on your phone. I can access network shares from mine, so I just connect to the wireless network and copy the files across.
Emailing them to yourself is the next best option, but that'll probably cost money so could get expensive.
There are photo hosting things that you can "upload" to via MMS as well, i believe. Some laptops have infrared, desktops don't.
Most don't, but some do. I had a really old machine, first gen Pentium and it did. Built right into the case. Absolutely useless to me, mind. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
cash converters etc sometimes have a bargain bucket, with various leads and chargers..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
I new someone would pick up on that, pretty rare though.
Sorry to be a pedant.
You're right though, they're really rare.
IR on laptops will become rarer too I guess, what with bluetooth and now wireless USB, especially with the pathetic speed of IR.They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -

I know, there's always one. :rotfl:
I had a motherboard once that came with a 3.5" drive for reading SIM cards! I thought it was a cool bonus. How many times did I use it (even though I installed it into the case)? Not once. :rotfl: :rotfl:"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

if you have bluetooth on it and on the pc,you can use nokia pc suit to send them,if I remember rightly.
As someone else said, if it has a card you could stick it in a card reader and just drag and drop which is what we do with our phones these days . You can get readers for SD cards in poundland but the mini SD card needs a little adapter aswell.0
