    Thanks for that.

    Is there an aol keyword I need to search for on my friends computer because to use Outlook(express) I need the names of the servers used for incoming email (pop3) and outgoing email (smtp)?
  • As I recall I think it requires the use of imap and smtp and I think one of the ports needs changing.

    I’ll post the correct details etc. sometime after 6:00pm when I get home.
  • Incoming Server – imap.uk.aol.com
    Outgoing Server – smtp.uk.aol.com
    Outgoing Server requires authentication

    Incoming Server Port Number – 143
    Outgoing Server Port Number - 587
