Managed to start it in safe mode, but didnt give me the option of the user accounts, just listed loads of things, then took me to the start page.
On windows help. it basically says without the password, we cant remove anything - and the only thing to do is cancel and re load windows completely!
Need to get them to find the windows disk now then, but no idea where that is either!! (not sure about the prog fwor posted - im not very computer literate and its a bit complicated for me!!)
After you managed to start safemode did the list of options looks like this

If so, highlight safe mode and hit enter. It will take you to the start page, which is where all the user accounts will be listed, allong with an account called 'administrator'. Click the 'administrator' account, then once it's loaded go to the control panel- user accounts. You should be able to disable the user passwords then.Sigless0 -
BIOS or Windows password?
Just read it's the Windows one.
Should be easy lots of appz out there to reset it.
Or try this disk to show you what it is:
http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/
So long as it in not more than 14 Chars long and containing special symbols.
Boot to disk and follow instructions.
You may need to enter BIOS to change first boot to a CD drive.
Mine is set as this:
CD drive
Floppy
Hard drive
Another drive0
