I am loving the Optrex trial, my eyes feel amazing and refreshed.
The optician told me I had dry eyes last week and advised me to get the Optrex spray, now my eyes are feeling great.
Hubby also has had itchy eyes recently so I have given him a £2 off voucher to buy some
Sarah, if you have been diagnosed with dry eyes, be careful when using any drops containing preservatives - like Optrex Actmist (phenoxyethanol) - as used long term, it can cause damage to the cornea. I'm sure for short term use it's fine though.
I have dry eyes, diagnosed at the eye clinic and was given some eye drops to use, they are preservative-free. When I asked for a repeat prescription from my GP I had to specifically ask for 'preservative-free' as she was going to give me some that contained preservatives (they're probably cheaper!)Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -

That's useful to know - thanks. I've also been diagnosed with dry eyes (they think it's to due with contact lens wear). I was prescribed some eye drops but I don't know if they're preservative-free. Nothing about that was mentioned. I think I'll ask when I next go to the eye clinic.
At the moment, I thought it was worth trying the optrex because the eye drops I've been prescribed don't seem to be doing much.
The optrex does seem to help.0 -

I am also doing the Optrex Eye Revive Moisture Mist trial.
I have been diagnosed with dry eye's also due to several Bell's Palyse's and TIA's.
The mist is working wonders for my dry eye's and they feel refreshed also.
This is my second day and the eye itself feel more wet and moisturised.
I will be buying this again once this trial runs out as it really is working for me.
Hope it works for everyone else.0 -
I have the Optrex trial and tbh it doesnt really make my eyes feel that much different. Ill keep using it when i feel the need though, but really cant see me re buying this.
Also got the invite for the hair dye. Loving Bzz agent at the min.0 -
When we went away I changed my buzz email address to the iPad one but now if I try to log in the system won't recognise either email as being on their system. I ask for a password reminder and it won't recognise my address.
I've left messages on their facebook page, emailed them and tried to phone but I get no replies. Just have to keep trying.
I am on the optrex trial“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

The Scholl Pedi had already been reduced by £10, so I managed to purchase it for £20 (half price). Plus I got advantage points too. Even the lady who served me in Boots was jealous as it was such a good price and she wants one too!
give her a voucher if you have any more spares :-)Absolutely gutted and heartbroken0 -
I would really appreciate others feedback on the Optrex. I have used it a few times and can feel no difference at all to my eyes. I am gobsmacked that it is £15 a pop as I don't really see how moisturising your eyelids can help with dry eyes.0

It's interesting reading people's feedback on the Optrex. Seems like it's helpful for some and not for others.
I've been looking into dry eyes after someone on here mentioned preservative-free eye-drops (I was diagnosed with dry eyes and this wasn't mentioned to me).
It looks like there's different causes of dry eyes so maybe that why some of us have found the Optrex mist helpful and others haven't?
I've found the Optrex mist helpful (and was pleased it didn't smudge my eye make-up) but must admit £15 is expensive! I'm thinking I might buy some more but won't use it all the time and will use a cheaper eye-drop in between.0
