I pimped my iron out to my mother yesterday (she LIKES reading instructions) & feedback from her is that it's fab...surprised with how much water is used & she keeps knocking the button with her hand. I'm picking it up to try it out tomorrow0

I must say I can't fault this iron at all. It's great, not as noisy as I thought it was going to be from what was said on here. The iron it's self is nice and light it's only heavy when you carry them both to your ironing board and off afterwards. And I can cope with that when it works this well.
Doing bedding was a breeze the time was cut by at least half. I also don;t find that it's making my clothes damp either, maybe some might be a bit to heavy handed with the steam button. All in all I really think those that got it have got themselves a great deal and giving the vouchers out help my friends to save money on it too. Thanks for any help and advice given

I only joined two days ago and received my email invite to the Phillips campaign today. I'm really excited about it. I've needed a new iron for ages2010 Comp wins: Lamaze baby toy, Cushelle koala, Frusli bars, knitted monkey, nursery rhyme DVD
Christmas sorted for my LO (apart from Frusli bars - they're mine!)0 -
Wow! I have just received an email as well to join the Philips Ironing campaign and been accepted. My iron broke yesterday what a coincidence.
Really looking forward to this campaign after the really boring Micro Trends one when I didn't even bother submitting a Bzz. Went down to Tier 1 so thought I wouldn't get invited to anything again.0 -
My iron come last week and I haven't stopped washing and ironing since. I would never have paid so much for a iron but now I have used it, it really is worth every penny. It seams that its the presurized steam that makes all the difference and thats why its better than some of the other ironing stations that you can buy cheaper. I can't fault it and its cut my irong time in half and made it more fun0
