Got my Veet kit this morning, I've waxed before but not with hot wax so we'll see how that goes! My legs aren't ready for waxing yet though.

Got my veet kit today, my legs aren't ready for waxing yet so the fiance let me try it on him after the first strip he was almost in tears and I wasn't allowed to do anymore!

Now I'm even more nervous to try it. I have my eyebrows waxed and that's not too bad so I'll just have to be brave. I'm trying to persuade my 18 year old son to let me try it on him but he's not keen

If you don't pull the stip off quickly and firmly you can damage your skin by taking more then top layer off leaving it really red and sore almost raw sore..,, be careful ladies...

just finished waxing my legs, took about 35 minutes just to get the wax warmed up

am pleased with the results, theres still a few hairs that it didnt pick up but i reckon with a bit more practice i'll be expert at it soon

but i'd definitely reccomend it as i usually end up cutting myself shaving and the waxing doesnt hurt as much as i expected (to me it was no different than pulling off a plaster/bandage)

its heating up. i dont know if i will use it more than this tester though, we shall see, i dont have high hopes honestly

well, I used mine earlier..

took ages to heat up (30 mins +)... It didn't hurt half as much as I expected it to but not impressed with the lack of strips they give you to be honest! I am pleased with the smoothness tho!

I've got a few stragglers on my legs that I missed and also some wax that won't come off.. not even with the wipes they give you!

think I'll stick to the razor or the epilator!

And I doubt I will using it on the underarms or bikini line :eek:

I didnt mind the pain, but I couldnt get it to completely clear the hair, didnt pick up that much. it took over 40 mins, almost 50 for mine to be useable

now if they want to send a free epilator! :P
